You can actually appear first in a nail and then spread to others. And work in wet environments may promote chronic disease.</p>
<p><span style="color: #ab4c2b;">There are five categories:</span></p>
<p>1 .- Distal and lateral subungual onychomycosis.<br />
Most common causes: Trichphyton rubrum, T interdigitale, T.schoenleinii, Candida albicans, C.parapsilosis, Scopulaiopsis brevicaulis and Hendersonula toruloidea.<br />
<span id="more-193"></span>2 .- Superficial white onychomycosis.<br />
Most common causes: T.interdigitale, C. albicans, Acremonium and Fusarium spp.<br />
3 .- Superficial black onychomycosis.<br />
Most common causes: Scytalidium dimidiatum, T.rubrum.<br />
4 .- Proximal subungual white onychomycosis.<br />
Most common causes: T rubrum, T.megnini, T.scholeinii and E. floccosum.<br />
5 .- Total Dystrophic Onychomycosis.</p>
<p><span style="color: #ab4c2b;">Tips and prevention </span></p>
<p>First of all maintain rigorous hygiene in order to prevent the proliferation of fungi and bacteria. Wash hands and feet at least 2 times a day and dry them properly. You should use appropriate footwear and socks to provide breathability and ventilation, and change them often avoiding excessive <a href="http://www.possibilityknot.com/the-art-of-sweating.htm">sweating</a> and moisture of the feet. Perform a manicure at least once a week, this will provide adequate monitoring of nails allowing correct deformities and improve its appearance.</p>
